Torrefied “Popeye” Tulip Poplar 'Dreadnought' Back & Sides Set

Tulip Tree, Yellow Poplar (Liriodendron tulipifera)

We were pretty excited to find this log. It’s not quite Birdseye, but not just a blistered figure either. “Popeye” seemed fitting. Sides have an end check (marked in chalk) which will presumably be glued against a neck or tail block.

We had two of these sets torrefied. I wouldn’t expect to see another set like them. If rarity is something you’re into, this has that.
